Episode 306 photos

Starz has released some new photos from episode 306, which you can see here.

While everyone is all hepped up about the print shop scene, there is going to be way more in that episode than just Jamie and Claire getting back together (and getting it on). We will meet grown-up Fergus, portrayed by César Domboy (which I am VERY VERY much looking forward to!), and we will meet another, somewhat controversial character, Mr. Willoughby. I am very curious to see how he is portrayed, because I wasn't all that comfortable with him in the book. We may also meet Young Ian in this episode, or maybe that will wait until 307. Either way, there will be more to this episode than just the reunion, so if you were expecting 75 minutes of just Jamie and Claire together, sort of like the Wedding episode, it won't be that.

Hahaha! I mean, I doubt anyone would complain about 75 minutes of Jamie and Claire, but there's a lot more to this reunion than there was to the wedding. I mean, it's like twelve hours of "Awwww" followed by All The Fucking Things. I freaking love this bit of the book, 100%.

And while I was a bit nonplussed by Mr. Willoughby in the book, I hope they stay accurate to how he was written.

Given how so many people flipped out over the spanking in season 1 because they judge everything by today's standards/mores/customs/etc., I can just imagine the reaction to Willoughby if they stay really true to the book...

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing older Fergus (finally!). César Domboy appears to be a real sweetie in real life.

LOL! I mean, it's historical fiction. If it wasn't accurate to the time, it'd suck. So. Those people can fuck right off? They can't be the majority of the audience. (At least, I hope not.)

I agree. I'm sad to see little Fergus go, but I'm excited for extreme awesomeness. :D
