Starz released a video on their Facebook page to promote both Outlander and their app. The video is essentially a condensed version of the season 4 trailer minus any dialogue bits. At the very end of the video, it says "Outlander returning November 4".

I'm not on Facebook so can't link to anything there, but Matt Carter has embedded the video on his site. There's been no official announcement from Starz confirming or denying the November 4 date, but it seems unlikely they'd release that video with a placeholder date at the end rather than the actual premiere date.

So make of that what you will -- but it's looking like November 4 is the date to circle on your calendar (if you live in the US anyway...).

While season three hasn't quite yet hit the halfway mark, cast and crew are back in Scotland and have already started work on season 4. Since they tend to film pretty much in order, that means there are going to be some key casting decisions made soon or maybe already made but not announced.

While there will be a number of new characters introduced in season 4, there are two roles in particular that I am looking forward to see how they will cast. Those are Jamie's Aunt Jocasta, and, of course, Stephen Bonnet. Who would you like to see cast in either of those roles? Are there any other major new characters from Drums of Autumn that you are looking forward to seeing on-screen?
